Mullen says scheduling questions have been more about playing at least 10 Power 5 teams. Discussion hasn't been as much around what the other two games should be (i.e. should they all be Power 5 or not)
Mullen says QBs have red jersey's on in practice but he doesn't freak out if they get hit, in order to replicate real game reps. Says they probably get hit here in practice more than other schools. Says there's a comfort level because he has 3 QBs that have all taken real game snaps so there's a backup and they have experience so not getting hit in practice won't throw them when getting hit in the game.
Mullen says they began to develop RPO at Utah, a lot of which came from mistakes and then just an opportunity to innovate. Then "when we came to Florida however many years ago, people said 'oh that was fun at Utah but it won't work here' and then it did"
Mullen says Feleipe has grown a lot through criticism but nobody ever likes to be criticized. But "outside opinion doesn't matter as much as inside opinion." Says the only criticism Franks really needs to worry about/focus on is that from Mullen and Brian Johnson.
Franks says playing in a RPO offense (which he really hasn't done until Mullen) means when he walks to the line of scrimmage, he has every option open to him, meaning all of the playmakers are at his disposal to check to if needed.
