I stand by my comment. Worst coached and played!
You surely missed that game in the old Gator Bowl Stadium in 1968, 0-51. Probably were out of the country when the Gators lost to Georgia Southern when GSU completed not one pass. Or how about the debacles in Atlanta from McElwain’s pair of SEC East champs. There were a long string of losses in 1979 under Charley Pell. What about “Fourth and Dumb” versus UGA? And my friend John Reaves’ NCAA record nine interceptions by Auburn in 1969?
