Just a few days after seeing his child pornography charges dropped, former Gators quarterback Jalen Kitna announced that he is entering the transfer portal.
As I touched on in my story discussing his charges, Kitna has a long road ahead of him regardless of whether or not he decided to stay in Gainesville.
His entry into the portal does not necessarily mean that he will continue his football career, but rather could be a form of "testing the waters" in terms of what options he has.
It remains unclear what programs, if any and at what level, would be willing to give Kitna another chance, but we will continue to provide updates as the story develops.
