You can tell this defense wants a shut out. Score is 49-0, game is over. These guys are still fired up about getting stops, gotta love it.

New offensive line group is in for Florida
You would figure at some point Mertz will come out of the game. Important to note that Jack Miller is not dressed tonight, so it will likely be Max Brown who will enter the game when/if that decision is made.

Gators pinned, Mertz will have to take the Gators 99 yards on his second drive in the Swamp.
McNeese already down two timeouts with over six minutes still to play in the first quarter. Appears that head coach Gary Goff and company understand the importance of this drive, with an opportunity to tie and potentially take the lead early here. Goff is at least willing to burn the timeouts to ensure his group is set. However, straight out of the timeout, Scooby Williams shoots into the backfield for a huge sack.
After a nice contain by Princely on the third down, the Gators give up a fourth down conversion to allow McNeese to keep the drive alive. currently on florida's 30.
A little Jimmy Buffett tribute early on from the Florida Band: Cheeseburger in Paradise.
Gators fly up the field and find the end zone in just over 4 minutes. Montrell Johnson gets the score on a 2 yard carry. Gators already well above their rushing yard total from last week.
Jake Slaughter will be getting a second consecutive start at center.
