Was it exceptional defense on the part of the Oklahoma Sooners or simply a case of the Florida Gators couldn’t have thrown it in the ocean from the end of the pier when launching from the 3-point line? The Sooners (9-3) owe their 62-53 win over the Gators (7-5) in the Jumpman Invitational in Charlotte to seven 3-pointers. The Gators made two and launched 20 SCUDS. The Gators did an oh-fer in the second half, as in oh-fer nine.
