After a strong week of recruiting, things took an odd turn for Gators basketball when Alex Fudge decided to declare for the NBA Draft. It appeared that the 6-foot-9 forward was locked in to Todd Golden and the Gators, but he made a last-second change. However, Golden quickly found another addition to fill the spot Fudge left by securing a commitment from Seton Hall transfer Tyrese Samuel.
