You’ve heard of flipping a prospect?
Well the Gators have flipped a flipper in 4-star quarterback Jaden Rashada.
He was going to be a Gator, then Miami got him at the last second.

Florida scored that recruiting coup late Thursday night when the Miami commit announced on Twitter that he plans to play quarterback for the Gators.
This was the “surprise” that mega-booster Hugh Hathcock had promised would rock the Gators world.
There were rumors on top of rumors that Miami’s NIL deals were the clincher. Well, Florida didn’t give up on him and now the flipper has been flipped, giving Florida the stud quarterback it needs in this fast-rising recruiting class that may very well move up the ranks in the next few days.
Rashada, a 6-4, 190-pound QB from Pittsburg, CA, says he developed a relationship with Billy Napier and maintained it even after committing to the Hurricanes in June.
"Coach (Billy) Napier is just a solid and genuine guy and I had a great relationship with him," Rashada told 247 Sports. "When I went on my (official) visit, he just made me feel really comfortable and at home."
Florida is expected to rise a notch or two in recruiting rankings, overtaking Miami at 9th.

Been expecting this for the last several days. Our staff has plenty of recruiting momentum. You two rock, as well. Thanks for the happy news!
