Florida Gators Football Mini Plans Now On Sale As Stricklin Anticipates Full Crowd For Fall

Last Wednesday, Florida Gators Athletic Director Scott Stricklin said he anticipates having a full capacity crowd in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium this fall. The comments came during a virtual UF Eye Opener Discovery Breakfast with faculty and staff Wednesday, according to Gainesville TV reporter Sara Cardona of MYCBS4.

Graham Hall of the Gainesville Sun later reported Stricklin also told faculty and staff he doesn't anticipate fans being required to show proof of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. However he did hedge his bets and say they'll continue to follow the direction of UF Health. Stricklin further clarified his comments.

On the most recent episode of Double Coverage With Jacquie and Kassidy—which is done in conjunction with Buddy Martin Media and GatorBait Magazine—Jacquie Franciulli and Kassidy Hill discuss Stricklin's comments and what they could mean for fans.

With all of this in mind, the University Athletic Association announced the first wave of ticket sales.
