No. 25 Florida hosts Oklahoma on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 7:45 p.m. ET at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, with the game on SEC Network.

The Gators are 5-3 overall and 3-3 in the SEC. Oklahoma is 4-4 and 2-3 in the league and is not ranked. Both teams lost Saturday: Florida 27-8 to Georgia in Atlanta, and Oklahoma 42-25 at home to South Carolina. A win would give Florida six victories, the usual mark for bowl eligibility.

Quarterback plan

Florida's depth chart lists Aaron Philo or Tramell Jones Jr. at quarterback, the first time this season the Gators have listed an "or" at the position, and coach Jon Sumrall has not named a starter. The Associated Press reported that Sumrall pulled Philo after two interceptions against Georgia and that Jones, who replaced him in the second quarter, committed two turnovers of his own. Both quarterbacks practiced Monday, the AP reported.

Philo has thrown for 1,367 yards with nine touchdowns and five interceptions this season, according to ESPN.

Brown likely out

Receiver Vernell Brown III likely will miss Saturday's game, the AP reported. Brown has played in four games and has 17 catches for 271 yards and two touchdowns, plus two punt returns for touchdowns. Dallas Wilson leads Florida with 31 catches for 417 yards and three touchdowns, per ESPN.

Oklahoma changes play callers

Oklahoma fired offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle on Monday and named tight ends coach Jason Witten interim coordinator and play caller, ESPN reported. Saturday will be Witten's first game in the role. The Sooners rank next to last in the SEC in yards per game and touchdowns scored, ESPN reported.

Key numbers

All figures are from ESPN and include games through Saturday, Oct. 31.

Florida offense: 35.6 points and 425.3 yards per game, with 176.0 rushing yards per game and 21 rushing touchdowns. Jadan Baugh has 801 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 152 carries.
