We've still got weeks to go in the 2019 college football regular season which of course means it's already time to turn attention to the 2020 NFL Draft as well.
Each year, those that are eligible for the league play knowing it's their "draft season" and that each play goes on tape. The Florida Gators have a bevy of playmakers in such a position this season.
As the 2019 NFL season stands, the Gators have 44 former players on rosters in the league. That number stands to increase next April when a load of seniors and upperclassmen evaluate their NFL stock. The offense in particular is senior heavy and stands to see a majority of its skill players suiting up on Sunday's next season.
In the interest of the looming draft, GatorBait TV's Kassidy Hill sat down with Mike Renner of Pro Football Focus. Renner is the lead draft analyst for the analytics site (which is owned by former Gator Cris Collinsworth) and as such has an eye on those across the country who stand to be the biggest names called by commissioner Roger Goodell next spring.
Touching on several of those who could be heading for the next NFL Draft, Renner broke down what they've done well so far, what NFL scouts see in each guy and what they can continue to do this season to improve their stock.
