GatorBait Magazine unfortunately isn't in Nashville, Tennessee this weekend but the Florida Gators (5-1) are and they will be taking on the Vanderbilt Commodores (0-6) at noon ET on ABC.

The game was originally scheduled to air on ESPN. But early Saturday morning, the ACC matchup between No. 4 Clemson and FSU was postponed after a Clemson offensive lineman reportedly tested positive for COVID-19. Once that game was removed from ABC, the Florida-Vanderbilt game was moved into the prime noon slot.

The complete list of unavailable players for Florida on Saturday are as follows:

  • 2 Anthony Richardson

  • 4 David Reese

  • 7 Jeremiah Moon

  • 17 Kahleil Jackson

  • 21 Ethan Pouncey

  • 26 Kamar Wilcoxson

  • 38 Nick Oelrich

  • 41 James Houston

  • 51 Stewart Reese

  • 54 Lamar Goods

  • 55 Hayden Knighton

  • 66 Jaelin Humphries

  • 80 Trent Whittemore

  • 84 Kyle Pitts

  • 95 Lucas Alonso

Tight end Kyle Pitts will be unavailable again this afternoon. After receiving a hard hit that caused a concussion versus the Georgia Bulldogs two weeks ago, Pitts also had to receive surgery to repair his nose which was broken during the hit. He missed last week's big win over the Arkansas Razorbacks; however Kyle Trask continued his hot streak with six touchdowns as 10 different receivers caught a pass.

Pitts being held out again today allows for precautionary recovery before the Gators face Kentucky next Saturday.

Trask will continue his Heisman campaign in Nashville. He currently has 28 touchdowns to 3 interceptions and has set and reset the SEC record for most consecutive games with four or more touchdowns. Trask has done it in every game this season. Florida is favored by 31.5 against the winless Dores.

Only family members are allowed to be in the stands today.
