Napier, Gators move to Phase III of the UF roster rebuild

Think of Wednesday as the final day of Phase II of the Florida rebuild by Billy Napier. Phase I was what happened last year when Napier signed a small class that was actually rather impressive when you consider he was working on short notice after taking over the UF program in early December. That group was enhanced by a handful of transfers including consensus All-American O’Cyrus Torrence, who has about a 90 percent chance to be taken in the first round of the NFL Draft in April. Phase III begins today as Napier, his coaching staff and army of analysts start focusing on adding another 5-10 high school kids who will sign in February and perhaps another 15-18 transfers.
