Two Assistants Gone, Napier Expected To Replace Toney With 'Bama's Armstrong

Depending on your point of view, the departures of co-defensive coordinator Patrick Toney and tight ends coach William Peagler are either unexpected hits that make you question head coach Billy Napier, or they are a chance to breathe new life into a coaching staff with new blood. Already, Napier has moved to replace Toney with Austin Armstrong from the Alabama staff which he recently joined after spending two years as the defensive coordinator at Southern Miss.
