Having significantly upgraded his frontcourt by bringing in transfers EJ Jarvis (6-8, 220, from Yale), Tyreese Samuel (6-10, 235, from Seton Hall) and Micah Handlogten (7-1, 227, from Marshall), Todd Golden has shifted his attention to the perimeter. He’s already brought in a scoring point guard in Walter Clayton Jr. (6-3, 190, from Iona) but there is a need for a couple of shooters on the wings. In Gainesville today are Andrew Taylor (6-3, 194, from Marshall) and Tyrin Lawrence (6-4, 200, from Vanderbilt). Landing one of those two would be huge for the Gators but both of them? That would be off the charts.
