A Saturday afternoon like these first two nights and the 2nd-ranked Florida Gators (27-5, 9-2 SEC) will have made 11th-ranked Tennessee (21-11, 4-7 SEC) seem like a lost ball in the tall weeds. Building on the momentum of Thursday night’s dominant 6-1 win over the Vols, the Gators used the same formula Friday night for a 9-3 decision that ensures a series win over Tennessee for the first time since 2018.
