Florida Gators 2026 Roster and Schedule Update: Auburn Opens SEC Play
Updated Sept. 17, 2026
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida has opened the 2026 season 2-0 and now heads into SEC play at Auburn. GatorBait has refreshed its Florida football roster and schedule information using the live University of Florida roster and the current official schedule as of Thursday, Sept. 17.
The roster is now a live-season roster
The current Florida roster page is the version we are using as the source of truth. Older spring and preseason roster PDFs can be useful historically, but they should not be treated as the current roster once the season is underway.
Among the players listed on the current roster are quarterbacks Aaron Philo, Tramell Jones Jr., Will Griffin, Aidan Warner and Aaron Williams; running backs Jadan Baugh, Duke Clark, Byron Louis, London Montgomery and Evan Pryor; and receivers including Vernell Brown III, Eric Singleton Jr., Dallas Wilson, Micah Mays Jr. and Bailey Stockton.
Defensively, the live roster includes Jayden Woods, Aaron Chiles, Myles Graham, LJ McCray, Bryce Thornton, Cormani McClain and a large group of young defensive linemen and defensive backs. This is a roster listing, not a depth-chart designation.
Florida is 2-0 entering Auburn week
Florida opened with a 66-21 win over Florida Atlantic on Sept. 5 and followed with a 52-3 win over Campbell on Sept. 12. Through two games, the Gators have scored 118 points and allowed 24.
The first SEC game comes Saturday, Sept. 19 at Auburn. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Auburn, Alabama. Florida's 2026 media portal has already advanced to Auburn week with game notes and this week's media availability material posted.
