Four-star defensive lineman D’antre Robinson, who was granted release from his letter of intent by Texas, has chosen the University of Florida as his next destination. Originally from Orlando, Florida, Robinson, ranked as the No. 273 overall prospect and the 28th defensive lineman in the 2024 class, expressed his excitement about joining his childhood-favorite team.

Florida is off and running in the 2025 recruiting cycle. Recently, they successfully recruited Josiah Abdullah from Woodward Academy and Waltez Clark, both committing to join the team. The latest addition is Jalen Wiggins from James Rickards High School in Tallahassee, Florida, who will be the first defender for Florida in this recruiting cycle.

The Florida Gators have been a bit slow in getting commitments from high school players for the Class of 2025. However, things picked up on Sunday night when Josiah Abdullah, a wide receiver from Atlanta, GA, decided to join the Gators. He's now the second player to commit for the upcoming cycle.
